Rabbit and Small Rodent Boarding in Novi Sad – Safe and Comfortable Stay
Within the Darvin Veterinary Clinic, alongside our cat boarding service, we also offer boarding for rabbits and small rodents (guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, degus, gerbils, etc.).
Located in Novi Sad, at Kaće Dejanović 12, our boarding facility is the ideal solution when you’re traveling or temporarily unable to care for your small pet.
Each animal has its own separate space tailored to its needs and size, and if required, it can stay with its pair or group—provided the owner requests it and the animals are normally kept together.
Care and Conditions
We only accept healthy and stable animals that show no signs of illness or aggressive behavior.
For rabbits, up-to-date protection against fleas and ticks is mandatory.
For other small rodents (guinea pigs, hamsters, degus, etc.), protection is not mandatory, but we recommend regular cleaning of the cage, bowls, and equipment brought in with the animal.
Food and bedding (sawdust, pellets, or hay) may be brought by the owner, or we can provide them by arrangement.
During their stay, animals are housed in a quiet and clean environment, away from stress and noise. Bedding, water, and food are changed regularly, and each animal’s behavior is carefully monitored.
Price and Stay Conditions
- Boarding price is 800 RSD per night
- Feeding by arrangement – we recommend bringing food your pet is used to
- Pickup after 1 PM is charged as an additional night
- Longer stays (over 30 days) are arranged individually

Veterinary Supervision All in One Place
The main advantage of our boarding service is that it is directly connected to the Darvin Veterinary Clinic.
If any health or behavioral issue arises during the stay, professional staff is immediately available to intervene and provide the necessary care.
This offers an additional level of security and peace of mind for pet owners, especially for sensitive species like rabbits and chinchillas that often hide symptoms until the condition becomes serious.
