Our Team
Vladimir Ćurčić
Veterinarian / Director
I graduated in veterinary medicine in 2004 from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Belgrade.
I spent the first nine years of my career at the Bilja & Olja small animal clinic, and in 2013 I founded the Darvin Veterinary Clinic.
In addition to daily practice, since 2022 I have been actively involved in the work of the Veterinary Chamber of Serbia, where I serve as President of the Regional Board for South Bačka, as well as a member of the Managing Board of the Veterinary Chamber of Serbia.
My goal in this work is clear — to contribute to improving the position of veterinarians in Serbia and to help restore trust and dignity to our profession.
Board games have always been an important part of my life. As president of the Valhala association, I organized numerous events with over 800 participants. That experience taught me something essential: a good team can achieve what an individual cannot.
I spend my free time with my children, playing games and trying to teach them to become good people.
I love tamburica music, Balašević, and quiet moments with friends.
I believe no one knows everything, but a good team knows enough to help every patient.
That’s why Darvin is more than a clinic — it’s a place where veterinarians, patients, and their owners feel safe and welcome.
I live by the words of the great teacher Yoda:
“Do or do not – there is no try.”
Renata Čolić
Veterinarian
I was born in 1989 in Novi Sad and have been surrounded by animals my entire life, so becoming a veterinarian felt like a natural choice.
I graduated from the Agricultural High School with student dormitory in Futog, majoring in Veterinary Technician. I earned my veterinary medicine degree in 2016 from the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad.
I completed my internship at the Darvin Veterinary Clinic and have been a full-time team member since 2018.
The field I continuously specialize in — and my main area of expertise — is internal medicine, with a special focus on endocrinology and cardiology.
I strongly believe that children should grow up with animals to develop selflessness, compassion, and a sense of responsibility from an early age.
I’m proud to say that I’m a mom — and a crazy cat lady.
Stefan Papić
Veterinarian
I was born in Novi Sad in 1989. Since early childhood, I’ve been surrounded by all kinds of animals — dogs, rodents, snakes, lizards, and more — so I can honestly say I grew up with a small zoo in my apartment.
Over time, this naturally led me to develop a deep love for animals and a growing interest in veterinary medicine.
I first attended the Agricultural High School in Futog to become a veterinary technician, then continued my education in veterinary medicine at the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad.
I completed my internship at the Darvin Veterinary Clinic, where I was fortunate to later become a part of the team.
My professional interests include internal medicine of dogs, cats, and exotic animals, as well as surgery and dentistry, and I aim to further specialize in these fields.
In my free time, I enjoy illustrating, reading, and playing the guitar. I’ve always been guided by the words of the great Stan Lee: “With great power comes great responsibility.” My goal is to use the power — or rather, the knowledge — I gain through education to help animals.
Nebojša Živković
Veterinarian
I was born in 1994 in Požarevac. I spent every summer of my childhood at my grandparents’ village, always surrounded by animals. After finishing high school in Veliko Gradište, I moved to Novi Sad to study Veterinary Medicine at the Faculty of Agriculture.
I graduated in February 2022, and in March of the same year, I began my internship at Darvin Veterinary Clinic. In May 2023, I passed the state exam and officially became a permanent member of this amazing team.
My areas of professional interest include internal medicine, surgery, and parasitology. And if you have a bird — feel free to ask for me, because at Darvin, I’m the go-to person for our feathered friends.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, playing bass guitar, gaming on PlayStation, and going to a good rock concert.
Danica Kitanović
Veterinarian
I was born in 1995 in Niš. From an early age, I felt a strong desire to help sick and abandoned animals, which is why I chose the veterinary profession. I graduated from “Svetozar Marković” Gymnasium in Niš in 2014, and from the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad, majoring in Veterinary Medicine, in 2023.
I completed my internship at Darvin Veterinary Clinic, and since 2024, I have officially become part of the Darvin team. You can find me at our Veternik clinic every weekday.
My areas of professional focus include internal medicine, with a particular interest in urinary tract diseases in dogs and cats, ultrasound diagnostics, and dentistry for dogs and cats.
In my free time, I enjoy watching TV shows, rollerblading, and spending time in nature.
Merima Rakić Radonić
Veterinarian
I spent my childhood in Novi Bečej surrounded by animals. During high school, I fell in love with biology through IS Petnica seminars, which ultimately led me to choose veterinary medicine as my profession.
While studying, I expanded my knowledge abroad, where I developed an interest in exotic animals in addition to dogs and cats.
Alongside love and empathy for animals, I believe that continuous education and acquiring new knowledge are essential for successfully treating animals. That’s why my professional interests are focused on internal medicine, neurology, ophthalmology, and avian medicine.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, reading books, and learning foreign languages.
Biljana Minić
Administration
I graduated from “Dušan Vasiljev” High School in Novi Kneževac and earned my degree from the Faculty of Philosophy, Department of Serbian Language and Linguistics. At the Darvin veterinary clinic, I handle administrative tasks.
Since childhood, I’ve been surrounded by pets — something that hasn’t changed to this day. In our family, we now have a dog, several cats, a guinea pig, a rabbit, parrots, stick insects, and fish.
I’m particularly interested in the impact of therapy dogs on the development and stimulation of children with developmental disabilities. I believe that pets teach children compassion throughout life. In that mutual and unconditional love, young people also develop a sense of responsibility.
Besides raising two kids, I still manage to find time for a good book. “I often forget, and then life reminds me that: every bold idea initially seems like madness.” (Goethe)
Ana Dimitrić
Veterinary Technician
Having spent my entire childhood surrounded by various animals, my love for them only continued to grow.
When the time came to choose a career path, my only wish was to be surrounded by animals every day. That led me to enroll in the Agricultural High School with a student dormitory in Šabac, specializing as a veterinary technician.
There’s no better feeling than going to work with a smile and having your daily routine filled with joy — and the Darvin clinic has made that possible for me. I look forward to seeing our patients, our friends, and my colleagues every day.
Tamara Peulić

I was born in Banja Luka in 1995 and grew up in a village nearby, where I spent my entire childhood surrounded by animals.

I have been part of the Darvin team since November 2022.
Dajana Bešević
Veterinary Technician
I come from Novi Sad, I’m 28 years old, and my life has always been filled with animals. Currently, I have 4 dogs, a rabbit, a budgie, and an African pygmy hedgehog I adopted a year ago.
After finishing veterinary school, my passion for this profession kept growing, and I found employment at Darvin. There, I discovered my area of interest and fell even more in love with cytology (the microscope has been my favorite “toy” since childhood).
In my free time, I enjoy painting and drawing, spending time in nature, and watching a good movie during the winter months.
Kristina Požega
Veterinary Technician
I was born in 1991 in Novi Sad. I attended the agricultural high school in Futog, specializing as a veterinary technician. My love for animals led me to enroll in that school and pursue a career as a veterinary technician. Since 2021, I have been part of the team at the Darvin veterinary clinic, and I often work in our pet shop and pharmacy as a substitute when needed.
I have always loved rescuing homeless animals, so throughout my life, I have cared for various animals such as hedgehogs, rabbits, hamsters, turtles, dogs, and cats. I am a cat lover and have two cats at home who greet me at the door every day and eat my entire paycheck. I have also completed a grooming course. In my free time, I take care of small dog breeds, enjoy walks in nature, and truly savor those moments.
Teodora Bošković
Veterinary Technician
I was born in 2003 in Novi Sad. I have been surrounded by various animals my entire life and knew from a young age that I would pursue this profession. I graduated from the agricultural high school in Futog as a veterinary technician, and since 2021 I have been part of the team at PVA Darvin.
The best feeling is when you can help animals and give them love that they will feel and return. An animal is the best and most grateful friend a person can have.
Zorica Molac
Veterinary Technician
I was born in Novi Sad, attended the Agricultural High School in Futog, and I am currently studying at the Department of Veterinary Medicine at the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad.
I enjoy drawing, painting, embroidery, reading, cycling, birdwatching, and spending time in nature with friends and dogs. I have two mixed-breed dogs (Oto and Fiji), a cat (Cicam), and a chinchilla (Leni).
Ana Bošnjak
Veterinary Technician
I was born in Novi Sad, attended the Agricultural High School specializing as a veterinary technician, and I am currently finishing my studies at the Department of Veterinary Medicine at the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad.
I train and compete in Olympic boxing as well as medieval fencing battles. I love flowers, embroidery, good books and movies, hiking, traveling, visiting new places, and spending time in nature or with my animals. I have many animals, especially adopted ones: 5 ferrets, 1 blind horse, 4 parrots, 1 rabbit, 1 hedgehog, 4 aquariums, 9 dogs, and I don’t know the exact number of cats…
Regarding veterinary medicine, I am most interested in mustelids, exotic animals, and aquaristics, so I am aiming to specialize in those fields.
Nataša Anđelković Radnović
Veterinarski tehničar – Pet shop i apoteka
I was born in 1977 in Novi Sad. Ever since I was a child, I loved animals and grew up in their company—as much as living in an apartment allowed. I graduated from the Agricultural High School in Futog, majoring in veterinary technician.
I have been working at the Darvin pet shop and pharmacy since it opened. I share my experience and knowledge with our customers about their beloved family members. I’m also here to offer support or solutions to the dilemmas you may face as pet owners.
The belief I’ve held since childhood hasn’t changed, and that’s why I love to say: life with pets is more beautiful, more fulfilling, and definitely healthier! In our home, along with our three children, we live with four dogs, a cat, and some fish.
